I am learning to chew!

So it's become much easier for me to be caught smiling by the camera, but I'm also gnawing all the time on the little toys Mommy or Daddy gives me to play with. Here's an example...

I've also turned into quite the little thumbsucker, too, but no pictures of that yet...

Mommy has ABANDONED me!

Can you believe the nerve of some people? My mommy went back to work and now I can't play with her every day. And just when I was getting really fun to play with. Right now, for example, I am playing in the new gym mat Granny Kate and Pop-pop got for Connor and me, and for the first time I am hitting the button that makes the bird sing over and over. On purpose and everything! It's cool.

I had a good holiday, and I hope you guys did, too. I am getting really big - over 13 pounds already, and I'm only 15 weeks old! I'll sleep, most nights, for about 7 hours, too. Mommy's a big fan of that!

Okay, time to eat, again... Here's a picture from Christmas. My hair is pretty short here, but it seems to be growing out now...

Mommy is LAZY!!

I can't believe she has waited to so long to post anything!

I am now smiling at anyone who sticks their tongues out at me (luckily, strangers are not walking up and sticking their tongues out at me - that would be weird!). I am also sleeping about 6 hours at night - sometimes more! I am more than 12 pounds, and the doctors say I look great! Of course, I will put on all kinds of extra weight over the holidays - it's hard not to eat those yummy cookies (once Mommy has devoured them and they go into her milk!).

Opening Day!

I am six weeks old!!

To commemorate my first smile today, my mom started this blog to keep folks posted on what I am doing, which is still mostly sleeping, eating, and pooping. Today, though, I added smiling to the list of verbs I can accomplish! This picture here is older - from Halloween, when I was only four weeks old. What a baby I was then...the good old days...
